We use dry manicure/pedicure techniques pioneered and perfected in Europe and Japan. Dry manicures are preferred for their sterilization and precision. Soaking the hands and feet can increase the risk of skin injuries, bacteria, fungus, and warts.

At White Beauty Space, we use sterile medical-grade tools to carefully exfoliate, clean, and shape the cuticles and surrounding skin. This provides a meticulously shaped and perfectly smooth finish. Polish can be applied closer to the cuticle for a longer-lasting manicure and flawless look.

Shellac is a type of gel nail polish that is more flexible and somewhat less long-lasting that our regular gel coating. Shellac cannot be used to build up unevenly shaped nails or to build nail extensions, but it is more durable and longer lasting than regular nail polish.

Like gel coating, shellac cannot be removed with acetone polish removers.

Gel-based nail polish is applied to natural nails. It hardens when exposed to a UV or LED lamp, rather than air-drying like traditional polish. Gel coating results in a very durable, long-lasting, high-gloss finish that is resistant to chips and fading. Gel coating can also be used to extend nail length without the need for glues, artificial tips, or extensions.

Unlike regular nail polish, gel coating cannot be removed with traditional acetone polish removers. It must be removed through careful filing and buffing. This work should be trusted to experts so as not to damage the natural nail and nail bed.

It is a handheld electronic tool with a rotating motor, a variety of speeds, and different tip attachments. An e-file is used to file, sand, and buff nails, cuticles, the surrounding skin, and gel coatings.

Beeswax is used to nourish and strengthen the natural nail. Finally, the natural nail plate is naturally polished with careful buffing.

Choose a Japanese manicure if you want healthy, strong, nourished, and glossy natural nails.

No, we do not use glues or acrylic nails or tips. Our gel nail extensions use a hard gel product to build up the nail length. The product is cured under UV light, providing a direct bond to the nail without glues.

Yes, we offer both regular polish and gel coating options. Regular polish can be removed at home. Gel coating must be removed in the salon, but it comes with a 7-day warranty and can last for weeks without chipping, peeling, fading, or dulling.

Yes, you can put regular nail polish over a gel manicure. This provides the advantages of strength and durability of gel with the ability to change your nail colour or design at home.

Please note that when you remove your polish with acetone, it will dull the finish of the gel coating.
